We are a small family run business who would like to share the exhilaration of sailing with others.
Your skipper Steve Marks has been sailing in the Bristol Channel for 25 years sailing to harbours such as, Porlock, Minehead, Portishead and many more. Steve also has a good knowledge of Cardiff Bay both before and since construction of the barrage.
Our yacht Takamaka is a 36ft Jeanneau Sunshine cruising yacht with impressive performance. This particular yacht was chosen because she has a large uncluttered cockpit which can seat 6 people comfortably.
During the day our trips run regularly from Mermaid Quay. We also take bookings for longer evening trips which can be personalised to suit you.

Welcome to Trysail Cardiff, we offer sailing trips around the idillic waters of Cardiff Bay, join us on our 36ft yacht Takamaka. Operating from Mermaid Quay trips leave regularly. Sail across the bay to Cardiff Barrage, along the Ely River, taking in the Olympic Canoe & Rafting Cente. Returning to Mermaid Quay via Cardiff Bay Wetlands Nature Reserve.
